Sales & expert advice
We have plenty of vinyls in stock, they come 2m, 3m, and 4m widths and are available in a wide range of colours and designs. If you can’t find what you want in store, you can pick from sample books and we can order in.
Durability, when cared for properly a vinyl can easily last for 10-20 years
Water resistant, spills can simply be mopped up
Appearance, vinyls nowadays come in many different designs and some can look exactly like a wood or tiled floor when laid on a smooth level sub floor
Easily maintained, just mop with a non abrasive cleaning agent
Got a question? We’re here to help.
No, vinyls are laid directly on to the subfloor
Vinyl needs to be laid on top of a smooth level floor otherwise you are simply wasting your money. So if it has to be laid on top of tiles, more often than not a self levelling screed will need to be applied first. We can advise you on this
Domestic vinyls are mostly loose laid and will remain in place as long as furniture is not dragged over it. However in certain circumstances it may be better to glue the vinyl down. Again we can advise on this
Sharp objects falling on to it, abrasive cleaning agents, water getting below it, dragging furniture across, and concentrated pressure eg. stiletto heels, will all damage your vinyl.
Over time vinyl will fade if it is getting constant exposure to direct sunlight, so consider that when deciding which room it is to be installed
