How much does carpet binding cost?

£1 per foot, anything over 35ft2 incurs an extra £10 handling charge.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, simply leave your carpet with us and we will contact you once it has been done.

How long does it take?

You will usually have your carpet back within 4-5 working days, although it can be longer during peak times.

Will you cut carpet to size?

Yes, we will square carpet off at no additional cost. Cutting to specific sizes may incur an additional charge depending on the time involved, usually £1.50 per foot.

What type of yarn is used?

We use a two ply wool yarn and have a large selection of colours. We are not able to provide an exact match in most cases, but usually have a colour which will compliment your carpet.

The Carpet Binding Process

When you leave your carpet with us to get bound, tell us the required size,we will cut to size and square off. Pick your colour of yarn or if you are happy for us to choose, we will. We then put your carpet through the carpet binding machine which will stitch the yarn over the top and bottom of the carpet giving it a neat all round edging which will transform your leftover carpet into an attractive area mat or runner.
